culture

Chile is a country rich with culture.  Perhaps its isolation from other countries, being bordered by the vast Pacific Ocean to the west and towering Andes Mountains to the east, is responsible for its unique music, dance, food, and even language.  Although Spanish is the official language of Chile, its people have developed a unique style and their own expressions not found in other Spanish-speaking countries.  Below you will find some Chilenismos, or Chilean sayings, that we found interesting and you might come across on your trip with S.I.C. Tours.
