Valle Nevado: 

Valle Nevado is South America's most modern resort. It receives 315 inches of annual snowfall and boasts 1980 acres of in-bounds terrain and thousands more of backcountry terrain. It's altitude ranges from 9,383 ft - 12,041 ft. You can connect with La Parva and El Colorado as well, making the area even larger, not that you'll need it. It has a half-pipe, border cross, and terrain park to keep everyone happy. Valle Nevado is a great all-around mountain. 

La Parva: 

This resort receives about 300 inches of annual snowfall and has some of the best back-country powder runs anywhere. It has chutes and open bowls which are accessed by hiking so they remain untracked. It's highest point is 11,910 ft and has a vertical drop of 3,150 ft. La Parva also has a terrain park. Rated intermediate to advanced. 

El Colorado:

With over 2,400 acres, 300 inches of annual snowfall, and a terrain park, snowboarders will surely be content here. The mountain is shaped like a giant cone and you can ride down 360º of it, making it a very unique experience. El Colorado will satisfy riders of all levels. 

Nevados de Chillán: 

This beautiful resort about 5 hours south of Santiago receives more snow than any other in Chile and is set at the base of 2 volcanoes. Their peaks reach over 10,000 ft. Unlike Chile's central resorts, Nevados de Chillán is not completely above treeline, offering great tree riding. It has aIso has South America's longest run, Tres Marias, at 13km. There are 1900 acres and 2,690 ft of vertical.
